- How does this person respond when they're disappointed?
- How does this person act when they're cross or irritated?
- What interests do we have in common?
- How is our time together affecting our future goals?
- How does this person treat older people? children? my parents? my friends?
- What plans does this person have for their own future?
- How does this person talk about previous partners (dating or sexual)?
- What kind of relationship does this person have with their family?
- What are this person's beliefs about marriage? Divorce? God? Sex outside of marriage? Money? Children?
- What relationships with older or mature people does this person rely on to help them make life-decisions?
- What character qualities does this person have that I want in my life?
- If we broke up, how would I feel about this person finding love with someone else?
- What level of sexual intimacy has this person already experienced with previous partners?
- How do I feel about myself after I have spent time with this person?
- How does this person demonstrate concern for my well-being? Do they take unnecessary risks?
- When I talk about this person, do I find myself trying to excuse or explain their behavior?
- When I'm with this person, do I feel accepted just the way I am, or do they want me to change?
- When I have made a mistake, how do I feel about sharing it with this person?
- How does this person treat others who can't do them any good?
- If I didn't look the same, how would this person treat me?
